Commented on UX Improvement: Swap primary action button for pattern creation (Open in Editor instead of Download PDF)My apologies - this update is not live yet, but here’s how it’ll look like:Commented on UX Improvement: Swap primary action button for pattern creation (Open in Editor instead of Download PDF)Hey Lilly, I think I found a way. The 2 buttons are now side-by-side and the “Editor” button has a subtle tint to be more visible. Thanks for spotting this UX issue!Commented on UX Improvement: Swap primary action button for pattern creation (Open in Editor instead of Download PDF)Lilly, it’s a bit tricky - there’s a tension between making it streamlined for editor-users versus getting the first-time users to a pdf without them having to enter the complicated editor and being overwhelmed. Still I’d like to improve it. Perhaps by changing the default path f…Commented on Ability to Rotate and Crop Reference ImageHi Brittni, I added rotation and crop for overlay images. Thanks so much for the idea!Commented on Improve symbol library and auto-assignment algorithmThis feature is live, you can find it in the editor’s top menu: Palette → Symbols, or from the editor’s right palette panel → palette tools button → Symbols, there’s also a shortcut to it from the PDF export settings → Chart pages → Symbols. Hope you'll like it! PS: The existing…Commented on Ability to Rotate and Crop Reference ImageHey Brittni, it’s a great idea - adding it to my TODO list. I’m also thinking of adding support for multiple reference images (say, up to 10), with the option to rotate/crop any of them independently. Collage-style workflow, loving it.Commented on Add page-specific (filtered) color legends for multi-page patternsHey Lilly, it’s ready - you can find this new setting under Cart Pages settings section. Here’s how it looks like (you can also optionally enable color names, not only codes). Please let me know if you’re happy with the implementation or there’s something that’s off or should be…Commented on Improve symbol library and auto-assignment algorithmHey Lilly, I’m experimenting with alternative ways to assign symbols and wanted to share a visual comparison: today -vs- the new look. To me it looks like a huge improvement for readability:Commented on Align pattern to top-left corner of the pageLilly, I’ve updated the web version to show this option for “1 page” as well.Commented on Align pattern to top-left corner of the pageGood find! I’ll make it show for the “1 page” layout as well.Commented on ❗Please bring back the option to download the entire pattern on a single PDF page!Lilly, I changed the UI to allow you choose “one page” layout directly from the main settings panel: the “Chart Layout” setting is the one to do it. Thank you!Commented on Align pattern to top-left corner of the pageLilly, You can already do it: on the PDF settings, scroll down until you see the “Chart sits” setting, where you can choose top-left or centered (default). It’s right above the “Customize” section. It only changes the chart pages, not the section map. Hope it helps!Commented on Sliding Thread view in ProgressGood point - it’s done!Commented on Feature Request: Export Language Settings and OXS ZIP Bundle SupportHi, Thank you for the suggestions! I updated Stitchmate to cover both things you suggested. Hope you’ll like it!Commented on Add page-specific (filtered) color legends for multi-page patternsOh yes, I’m glad you also mentioned this idea, since it’s literally something I myself considered a few times. Will add it to my list.Commented on Thread key - comments below the tableGood idea. Will do.Commented on Allow 2 quarter stitches in same squareHi, it’s already possible. Choose the “merge” mode inside the Stitch Type option panel and there you go. Hope it helps!Commented on Pull and Push All buttons to sync offline and online. It’s done! Loved this idea. The latest desktop app version - 1.0.14 - gets this new way of syncing/downloading all your pattern library + the downloaded local patterns get updated, rather than new copies being made.Commented on Tracking threads in stash from Progress Tracker.Hi and thank you for the idea. I added the green dots in both editor and progress mode to show which threads you own in your stash. Hope it’s helpful! I like the tracking thread quantities and auto-updating them too! Sounds like a useful feature, and it needs more thought and des…Commented on Export Option for Charts Both With and Without BackstitchYou’re welcome - I’m happy to hear it! Please let me know if you need anything else, any time.Commented on Improve symbol library and auto-assignment algorithmHey Lilly, Thanks for the suggestion. I went ahead and removed that symbol. Regarding the visual distinctiveness, it’s a bigger chunk of work - I added it to my TODO list. Currently the algorithm already chooses most distinctive symbols, but it tries to keep the visual weight as…Commented on Include Chart Layout settings in PDF PresetsHi Lilly, Good point - and it’s done.Commented on ❗Please bring back the option to download the entire pattern on a single PDF page!Hi Lilly, Nice find. It’s done! Please give it a try. PS: I updated the web version and will update the desktop apps tomorrow.Commented on Hi, Should I have received a log in or link to create one? Also, when I purchased my package I didn't receive a confirmation so I bought another one!. No problem I am enjoying the site thus far. I would like to know how to keep track of how many charts I have left. Thanks!Hi Lisa, And welcome! I sent you an email – and sorry for the app not making it clear to confirm your purchase. Will investigate!Commented on PDF CustomizationHi Lilly, I added the option to copy and insert the default texts, as well as selecting text straight from the rendered PDF preview, as well as inside the “Edit” windows. I also added options for removing the cover and legend pages. Please let me know if it helps. Thank you!Commented on Thread keyHi Lilly, I added this new option - and you can also customize the text, and the extra % is also available as a placeholder for your custom copy anywhere in the PDF.Commented on API requestsHello, I do plan adding bulk export and bulk import via the UI. Regarding the API, it’s an interesting idea. I’ll email you – let’s discuss it in more detail there. Thank you!Created Adding custom thread brandsCommented on Maintaining original colorsOops, I apologize: I prepared these fixes for pixel art but didn’t actually update Stitchmate website. Now it’s live, properly.Commented on Maintaining original colorsHi Julia, and welcome! Thanks for noticing this issue with Pixel Art exports. I took it seriously and redesigned the Pixel Art color controls to make them work as one would expect. Now there’s 2 clear controls: 1. map to library or use original colors and 2. how many colors to ke…
